Which category is allowed to new seller in ebay.com ? I am unable to list on ebay. ebay is showing To maintain a safe trading environment, eBay places limits on the number of categories sellers can list in. Hi everyone, during live training I was advised to post a message on here :) I just submitted a request from this email address, essentially I was manufacturing in LT but due to trade restrictions I found a partner in USA, now I want my listing to reflect that the item is actually made in USA and fulfilled from USA, so if anyone from eBay team can help to review the case, it would be great! GST/IEC Error while listing - Verified Payoneer
Hello, I have submitted all the documents including GST/IEC to Ebay.com and Payoneer. Payoneer has completed the verification and the account shows that it is ready for accepting ebay payments. I tried to list on ebay.com but I get an error - "You can't list, as you need to update your GSTIN and IEC on eBay. GSTIN and IEC are mandatory for sellers who are registered in India to sell on eBay. To sell on eBay, provide your GSTIN and IEC on your My eBay Account Settings Profile page." I contacted Ebay.com support and they told me that since I'm an Indian, I need to ask for support on Ebay.in since this issue is specific to Indian accounts. I have not been able to find a way to contact Ebay.in support. All my documents are ready and verified. Please suggest how to proceed. Error ->Suspension of the Ebay Account
Hello, I am an eBay seller since 2025. I listed items in my eBay seller account within the assigned selling limits. After reaching the limit, I contacted eBay customer service to request an increase in my selling limits. As part of the review process, I was asked to submit several documents, including a copy of my passport and images of the listed items to verify their legitimacy. I provided all the requested documents promptly and in good faith. However, after submitting the required information, my account was unexpectedly suspended without any clear explanation. I have contacted customer service multiple times, but I was not informed of the exact reason for the suspension. I would like to sincerely request clarification regarding this issue and understand the reason for my account suspension. I am fully willing to cooperate and provide any additional information or documents required to resolve this matter. Hello, i'm ebay seller since 2024. We have 500+ items listed on our store but we are not getting orders from buyers whereas our competitors here in local area are doing very good business. To even make it worse, we havent received even single order from past 1.5 months (normally, we hardly get 1 or 2 order/month) So far what i did to overcome this? optimised listing, added details, keywords, clear pics purchased store enabled marketing, offers, campaigns kept lowest price than most of the stores on ebay free shipping contacted with ebay support team multiple times, but no resolution so f We are drowning into debt. We suspect if anything wrong with our store. Please help. Thank you in advance for any help.
KYC VERIFICATION ERROR
Hello eBay Team, I’m AGAIN following up regarding the KYC verification issue I had shared earlier, where I was unable to list items due to the error message asking me to update my GSTIN and IEC. As mentioned before, both of these are already verified through Payoneer and my account is fully active. After contacting eBay support and asking help through my recent discussion post, I was told that my GSTIN and IEC proofs have been received by the eBay team I was asked to share proof(screenshot) of the updated PAN card details from my Payoneer account to kycverification@ebay.com . I have since **emailed the screenshot of the approved PAN card status** to kycverification@ebay.com as instructed. However, despite completing all these steps, I’m still seeing the same error and remain unable to list new items. There has been no further resolution since then. I am really seeking help to check the current status of my KYC verification and I would appreciate any assistance in getting this resolved as soon as possible so I can resume listing as soon as possible. Hello eBay Community, I’m facing an ongoing issue while trying to list items on eBay. The system keeps showing the following error: "You can't list, as you need to update your GSTIN and IEC on eBay. However, both my GSTIN and IEC are already verified through Payoneer, and my Payoneer account is fully linked and active. I contacted eBay Customer Support multiple times, but the support could not help much. Later, I received an email from the eBay KYC team mentioning that the issue is due to a **PAN mismatch** and that I should send my documents to **kycverification@ebay.com**. I have already submitted my PAN card, GSTIN, and IEC documents multiple times (most recently again today), but there has been **no resolution so far**. The error still prevents me from listing new items. Could someone from the eBay team or community please help me understand how to get this fixed? Is there any other way to get the KYC manually updated or verified so that I can resume selling? Thank you in advance for any help.
Bank charge for closing shipping bill too high for ecommerce seller in India.
Bank is charged a lot of money to realize the export process. Which is too much for us. Please send the below letter format by mail to all the institution like RBI, Ministry of finance, Ministry of commerce, DGFT, Customs. May be in next guidelines or FTP they will change the realize process or reduce the charge. Otherwise we shall force to close our business in near future. Date:14.08.2021 To, Sub: Regarding compulsion of EDPMS and closing of shipping bill with the AD Bank and the high bank charges imposed by the AD Banks. Respected Sir, This is to request you to look to into the matter regarding compulsion of EDPMS and closing of the shipping bill with the AD Banks and the high bank charges imposed by the AD Banks upon us. This is state that we are exporting in small quantities and amount, less than a value for Rs. 25000.00 through online portals like e-bay/Amazon and are shipped through courier/India post in CSB-V. This is to further state that the payments are received in advance through Online Gateway Payment System(OPGSP) like paypal/payoneer. This is to inform that AD Banks are charging an average of Rs. 1500.00-2000.00 as bank charges per shipping bill for EDPMS and closing of the shipping bills which is very high in respect to our monetary volume of the business which ranges an average invoice value for Rs. 1500.00 to Rs. 5000.00. Hence the bank charges for the above is unbearable for us. This is to describe you that International market is a competitive one and to compete there the price should be competitive one. You are requested to look into the matter regarding the modification of the charges imposed by the banks for the above service or modification of the system of uploading the above procedure so that the matter becomes cost effective for us, otherwise it has become difficult for us to continue with the business.
