BRC or eBRC in CSB-5 mode or postal shipping or submitting shipping bill to bank
I am using courier shipping using bank ad code & postal shipping (FPO). In that case is there any requirement of BRC or eBRC in CSB-5 mode or postal shipping or submitting shipping bill to bank? I am selling my products through ebay, which are ranging $10-$30. All my shipments are below Rs. 25000/- and I received money by paypal and payonner, which is directly credited in INR to my bank account (I have all the paypal/payonner FIRC). Also I don't want to claim any export benefits. So actually the bank realisation charges for every shipping bill is so high for me according to my business nature. Also inform me what is the possible charge for submitting shipping bill to bank. Thank you. Please guide me in this regard.2.1KViews0likes2CommentsFrustrating UPS Exporting Experience - Need Urgent Resolution
Extremely disappointed with our ongoing UPS experience! As an eBay seller from India, we entrusted UPS to ship our LOT order of ₹53,421.27 through the EGS (eBay Global Shipping). However, UPS's errors turned this into a nightmare, and it's been over 2 months without a proper response from UPS! Here's a summary of the ordeal, as per UPS tracking and email communication: On June 14th, the first delivery attempt failed because the receiver didn't pay customs charges. On June 15th, the second attempt delivery was unsuccessful for the same reason. Customs charges were paid by our receiver via PayPal but after the second Attempt. June 16th: On the third attempt, the shipment was still undelivered because UPS couldn't collect the charges that our buyer already paid. June 26th: Fourth attempt, same issue. June 27th: Fifth attempt, but the receiver had moved, so we provided a new address. July 8th: Tracking showed a delivery issue with the street number, but it was later corrected, and UPS said it would be delivered. However, on the same day, UPS claimed the shipment was returning due to an incomplete address. UPS acknowledged that the RTS (return to sender) exception was wrongly entered by the destination team, and they assured that the problem would be resolved, promising delivery on the same day. Finally, on July 13th, UPS confirmed that the shipment was indeed returning to the sender. Shipment arrived in India on 25th July with duty charges + return freight ₹ 49,498 + storage charges + UPS handling. As it was an error on UPS's end, we have refused to pay any return charges, and UPS still possesses our package. To date, we have not received any resolution from UPS. It has been a nightmare. We are grateful to our buyer who has been patient and understanding throughout the situation.862Views0likes0CommentseBay INCBT - Seller Protection under eBay Global Shipping
Dear Sellers, eBay always want to ensure customers have a great experience on our platform. To help ensure this, we have designed the eBay Global Shipping (EGS) Seller Protection. Seller’s registration country should be India Transaction should have been fulfilled on EGS Transaction date should be within the specified protection period Acceptance scan should be received within handling time What defects are covered under EGS Seller Protection? Late Shipment Rate (“LSR”) Item Not Received (“INR”) Negative Neutral Feedback (“NNFB”) related to LSR / INR will be removed from the seller’s feedback profile page and seller dashboard How does it work? EGS Seller Protection is automated i.e., eBay sellers’/account managers do not need to file an appeal On a weekly basis, the EGS team reviews the transactions eligible for protection as per the above-stated eligibility criteria and removes defects present against such transactions Where can a seller appeal if automatic EGS Seller Protection is not applied to a transaction that meets the eligibility criteria? Sellers should connect with their respective account managers or send a mail to ops@ebay.com What is the validity period of EGS Seller Protection? EGS Seller Protection is valid for a specific period and subject to change The present validity period is till 31 st December 2022 i.e., all transactions booked till 31 st December 2022 on EGS will be protected, subject to meeting the other eligibility criteria Here are some frequently asked questions: What is acceptance scan? When is it received? Acceptance scan (also known as “pickup scan” / “validation scan”) is received against a shipment when a validated carrier picks up the shipment and updates the status as “shipment picked up” Do all carriers provide acceptance scan? No. Only eBay recognized (validated) carriers get acceptance scan. All the shipments of carriers that are currently associated with eBay Global Shipping (“EGS”), such as Aramex, Bombino, DHL Express, FedEx, Lexship and UPS, receive acceptance scans on Seller Hub. Is Case Closed Without Seller Resolution (“CCWSR”) covered under EGS Seller Protection? No. CCWSR defects are not covered under EGS Seller Protection. Sellers should proactively co-ordinate with eBay buyers and close any case before it escalates and becomes CCWSR defect.
