Stay updated: Changes to eBaymag eligibility & promotion criteria for the store based promotion
Dear Sellers, We wanted to inform you about the important changes to the eBaymag promotion eligibility criteria and benefits, effective from 1 st January 2024. Promotion Period: Valid from 1 st January 2024 at 00:00:01AM IST until 31 st December 2024 at11:59:59 PM IST. What are the changes to the existing eBaymag Promotion? Eligible sellers who have been invited to participate by email and/or by a message in My eBay Messages and/or see the offer in Promotional Offers in My eBay, can create up to 1,000 listings (for Starter and Basic store subscribers) and up to 10,000 listings (for Premium/Featured, Anchor, Enterprise store subscribers) per calendar month on ebay.com, ebay.co.uk, ebay.de, ebay.fr, ebay.it and ebay.es, (excluding your store registration site) using eBaymag during the Promotion Period up to their selling limits allowance in any eligible category using fixed price format without paying an insertion fee per listing. Other eBay fees still apply. What is the Promotion eligibility criteria? India registered seller who has an active and confirmed (without any current restriction) business account. Seller’s performance must be “Above Standard” or “Top Rated” across all the aforesaid eBay sites as per the Promotion T&Cs. Seller must have a valid store subscription for Anchor / Enterprise / Featured / Premium/ Starter/ Basic. Seller must have a selling history in the last 3 months. Seller having less than 10 live listings on eBay host site is not eligible. Seller must have “zero” open drop shipper claims during the Promotion Period. This promotion is visible in your Seller Hub -> Overview Tab -> Promotional offers. Make sure you check this before starting to replicate listings via eBaymag. Here are some tips to gear up your sales by creating successful sale events: Group inventory • Merchandise related items from your sale inventory to ensure relevant items are highlighted to buyers when they are searching for a given item. Run ongoing events • Set up ongoing events with restricted inventory rules for groups of items that you frequently mark down. Inventory in these events will automatically rotate as markdowns end and new items are discounted. Offer meaningful discounts • Carefully consider the discount you’d like to offer so that your buyers feel like they’re getting a good deal. This will create a positive seller experience that may produce return customers. Targeted campaigns • Avoid running one promotion for your entire shop. Instead, try to run targeted campaigns for specific categories or brands. If promotions are used for an entire shop, buyers are often shown unrelated items that they have no interest in. Percentage discounts • Using percentage discounts is a great way to sell items with a lower value amount as they give you more control over the level of discount. Time your sale • Consider which times peak in which months and align your promotions with sport events, Christmas, Black Friday, etc. Consider your stock quantities and item costs • Make sure you have enough stock before putting items on sale, and choose pick items where you can retain a useful profit margin. This was done with the intent to enable sellers to use eBaymag for listing replication on US, UK, DE & FRITES with allotted zero insertion fee listings based on store subscription. The promotion is applicable only for sellers with an existing store subscription. Sellers who are ineligible : Any seller to whom the conditions set out below are applicable shall not be eligible for the promotion: Seller with 0 GMV in last 3 months Seller with less than 10 live listings Sellers who is drop shipping Seller who do not have their status as ‘Confirmed’ Seller with ‘Below Standard’ status (considering global seller standard) Seller with no store subscription Sellers will be eligible for the zero insertion fee listings: Starter & Basic store subscribers – 400 zero insertion fee listings on US, UK, DE & FRITES* Premium/Featured, Anchor & Enterprise store subscribers – 1000 zero insertion fee listings on US, UK, DE & FRITES* *- Excluding eBay store registration site This promotion is visible in your Seller Hub -> Overview Tab -> Promotional offers.
