Hello Everyone, I would like to share my recent experience in the hope that it raises awareness among other sellers, especially those based in India. eBay permanently suspended one of my seller accounts that had been active for nearly 20 years . What has been most surprising and disappointing is that, to the best of my knowledge, the account had a strong performance history. There were no negative feedbacks, no Bad Buyer Experience (BBE) issues, no unresolved refunds, and no significant seller performance concerns . When I contacted eBay Customer Support to understand the reason for the suspension, I did not receive a clear or consistent explanation. Initially, I was told the issue was related to BBE, where i have proven that its not BBE issue, but in a later response, the explanation changed completely. After multiple emails, the only response I continued to receive was that, due to eBay policy, they could not provide any further details about why the account had been suspended. As a seller who has invested two decades in building a positive reputation on the platform, I find this process extremely concerning. If a long-standing seller with a good track record can lose their account without a clear explanation, it raises important questions about transparency and seller protection. I fully understand that eBay has the right to enforce its marketplace policies. However, I also believe that sellers deserve a fair process, especially when a permanent suspension is involved. Providing a clear reason or evidence would allow sellers to understand what happened and, where possible, correct any issues. Has anyone else experienced a similar situation? I would appreciate hearing from other sellers, particularly those who have faced unexpected account suspensions or difficulties obtaining clear answers from eBay. This experience has significantly affected my confidence in the platform, and I sincerely hope eBay will continue improving transparency and communication with its long-term sellers.
