Do I lose item and $

Buyer filed for not received and I am totally on their side as well beyond when it should of arrived.  90% of my packages are mailed SAME not next day.  Tomorrow I feel the buyer is going to get the money back for the item.  Any time I have had shipments do this in the past they eventually did arrive to the buyer and never back to me.  Other times when it has just stopped traveling through the network for over a day or days of course send refund right away.  Likely the buyer will receive the item few days after the 8th is USPS correct course.  Am I with no recourse and lose the item and money?

    In accordance with the eBay Money Back Guarantee policy:

    For Item Not Received (INR) claims, eBay can review and potentially support the seller if there is valid tracking showing delivery to the buyer’s address, or clear evidence that the package is still moving through the carrier network.

     

    Since your tracking shows delays, it’s best to contact eBay directly so they can review the case in detail.

     

    Please go to eBay > Help & Contact and provide:

    • Order ID
    • Claim ID
    • Current tracking details

    Explain that the item is delayed but still in transit. eBay will be able to advise on whether you have any protection or next steps available.

  • Thank you so much.  I did not want the customer to have eBay step in and they were fully within their window but I went ahead and thanked the buyer and sent the refund.  So happy to say it did get delivered and as you said protected and eBay reimbursed me.  Excellent service.
